The Ubi Aqua Annular Venturi resists blocking with the level of suspended solids usually found in wastewater. By regulating the flow of water around the outside of the bulb we spread the concentration of solids over a wider area than if we were to concentrate the flow into a traditional centralised Venturi orifice. The bulb has an amount of wriggle room that allows larger particles to pass around the curved surfaces of the bulb. As the bulb sits inside the 50mm barrel union, the area can easily be cleaned out without too much fuss if necessary. When used with a speece cone, high dissolved oxygen levels can be achieved very rapidly.
