Our Commitment
At Global Rotomoulding, we are proudly Australian owned, family operated, and committed to sustainable manufacturing. Our approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibilities reflects who we are—innovators with deep agricultural roots, strong community ties, and a genuine desire to leave the world better than we found it.
We believe that sustainability is more than a goal—it’s a process that starts at the design table and continues through every phase of production, usage, and product end-of-life. We are committed to responsible resource use, ethical practices, and long-lasting products that support both people and the planet.
Environmental Stewardship
Designing for Durability. Manufacturing for the Future.
We believe the move to a circular economy begins at the design stage. Every product we create is engineered with longevity, efficiency, and recyclability in mind. Our design and engineering teams consider:
- Designing products to last for many years in tough Australian conditions
- Creating modular systems that can be adapted or upgraded over time
- Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimise strength and durability
- Developing product families that reduce the number of moulds needed
- Running smaller products in batches to maximise oven efficiency
- Reducing raw material use and energy consumption through smart design
Recycling & Resource Recovery at Every Stage
Our commitment to recycling is hands-on, measurable, and growing. We’ve implemented a comprehensive recycling program across our facilities, including:
- Faulty or downgraded products are cut up and recycled internally
- Customers and OEMs can return products at end-of-life for us to process and recycle
- Recycled plastic is used in a wide range of non-structural products, and OEMs are offered this as an option
- Loose plastic powder is swept up and reused in internal transport bins
- Cardboard is either reused in-house or processed via commercial recycling
- Plastic bags from raw material deliveries are baled and sent for recycling
- Metal offcuts and components are collected and sent to be reformed
- All 10c cans and bottles collected at our sites
Energy and Efficiency Focus
We’re actively working to reduce our energy consumption and emissions through:
- Using energy-efficient ovens and managing oven runtime
- Investigating solar and renewable energy sources to power future production
- Preventative maintenance on moulds to minimise downgrades and material waste
- Reducing product downgrades in our manufacturing process to minimise environmental impact, enhance cost efficiency, and reduce energy consumption
- Ongoing improvement to QA and dispatch processes to ensure first-time quality
Social Responsibility
Supporting the Industries That Support Australia
As a business built on farming foundations, we have a deep understanding of the land, the climate, and the needs of rural Australia. Our CEO Lester Ferry comes from a grain farming background, while CFO Larissa Lloyd-Ward and her husband grow feed for sheep and cattle. These real-world experiences inform everything we do—from product design to customer care.
We support the agricultural, civil, and industrial sectors with durable, fit-for-purpose products like fertiliser tanks, cartage tanks, and wastewater systems. We partner with Australian machinery manufacturers to deliver custom, locally made solutions that help them grow, sustainably.
We also believe in supporting education and community engagement. Our Irymple factory regularly hosts school and industry tours, showcasing modern manufacturing and inspiring the next generation of makers and problem-solvers.

Governance and Continuous Improvement
Operating with Integrity and Purpose
At Global Rotomoulding, good governance means doing what we say we’ll do—ethically, transparently, and with accountability. We operate under ISO 9001 certified quality systems, and continuously monitor our performance to find better, more efficient ways to serve our customers and reduce our footprint. We partner with Peninsula HR and Work Health & Safety to ensure our compliance with current legislation and to maintain a safe, fair, and supportive workplace for all team members.
Our governance practices include:
- Transparent reporting on quality, safety, and environmental performance
- Responsible procurement and supply chain engagement
- Helping OEMs manage product end-of-life through recycling and redesign
- Offering customers recycled-content options without compromising durability
- Promoting a safety-first, people-focused culture across all sites

Looking Ahead
Sustainability is not a trend—it’s our direction. Global Rotomoulding is committed to improving the way we design, manufacture, and support our products, partners, and communities. We will continue evolving to be more sustainable, efficient, and profitable—while staying true to our roots as a proudly Australian family business.
We invite our customers and partners to join us on this journey toward a better, cleaner, more circular future.
