The Small Baffle Bone is a unique solution designed for water suppression in cartage tanks. It helps reduce the movement of water during braking and turning, enhancing safety and stability while transporting liquids. Both small and large baffle bones have been rigorously tested for use with water.

Key Specifications:

  • Surface Area (SA): 0.289 m²
  • Weight: Approximately 0.33 kg (based on 2.5 mm nominal wall thickness in LLDPE)
  • Displacement: Approximately 0.35 liters (based on 3 mm nominal wall thickness)
  • Boundary Volume: 9.45 liters

The baffle bone offers a large surface area with low volume displacement, making it an ideal choice for reducing liquid movement inside tanks. When used in the recommended quantities per tank, it effectively minimizes water sloshing, improving vehicle handling. Constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using injection molding, it adheres to Road Traffic Authority (RTA) restraint guidelines, ensuring both performance and compliance in transport scenarios.

Tanks equipped with these baffle bones have been thoroughly tested to work effectively with water, providing reliable results during transportation.
